Financial Management/Momentum Test Analyst (Remote Opportunity)

VetsEZ is currently seeking a remote Financial Management/Momentum Test Analyst with knowledge and experience in Momentum functional systems. In this position, you will work closely with the stakeholders and vendors to lead the technical development, operations, and support for a cloud-based momentum solution. An ideal candidate will have experience with Momentum functional and technical systems testing. The candidate must reside within the continental US. Responsibilities: • Perform IV&V services, comprised of independent testing and quality assurance services • Create testing procedures to evaluate the performance of the software • Review and recommend opportunities for automated testing processes where appropriate • Run software testing procedures to evaluate the software (Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test scenarios, execution of complex test cases) • Document all testing procedures • Report bugs and recommend improvements to the software product • Retest software after bugs are fixed to ensure the program works properly • Attend meetings with the team, clients and other groups as appropriate • Identify objective data and conclusions to provide feedback about quality, and performance to stakeholders • Advise government personnel on improvements to the standardization of processes as necessary • Promote Agile quality practices and coordinate across organizations • Build relationships to encourage collaboration, transparency, and innovation across a highly cross-functional Agile software development team supporting CI/CD • Assist in the coordination with senior-level client leadership teams in client-delivery engagements • Coordinate with Test Leads on the project team Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related scientific/technical discipline is required • A minimum of 3-5 years testing experience is required • Proven testing experience with large-scale testing, data management, and software integration projects • Strong technical abilities and comfort working with various software programs (Jira, Agile IQ, Agility, Visio, Power BI, MS Office) • Familiarity with software defects, creating and opening bugs • Understanding of various database types • Ability to work well as part of a IV&V testing team • Ability to handle fast-paced environments with tight deadlines Additional Qualifications: • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®) and Kanban agile methods • Experience with Momentum (ERP) is desirable • Experience with the Department of Veteran Affairs or other government agency tools, processes, and frameworks is a plus Benefits: • Medical/Dental/Vision • 401k with Employer Match • Corporate Laptop • PTO + Federal Holidays • Training opportunities • Remote work options Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status.
