Commercial General Liability/Auto Team Manager

Insurance Placement Solutions has an immediate opening for a Remote Commercial General Liability/Auto Claims Team Manager with our client. The Commercial General Liability/Auto Claims Team Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of General Liability Claims, including the training and development of the claim representatives and directing reputed company vendors to reputed company department and company goals. He or she will ensure consistent delivery of quality services, be responsible for staffing and training needs, and for budget preparation and profit and loss management. Commercial General Liability/Auto Claims Team Manager Responsibilities • Provide direction and reputed company to the General Liability Claim Representatives and Operations on the proper handling, reserving, claims resolution/settlement, and escalation to the reputed company and overall management of guest incidents and general liability claims. • Provide direction and reputed company to insurance carriers and claims consultants as reserves are set, claim summaries are reputed company, and key issues are addressed from the outset (ie. denial of claims, litigation avoidance) • Provide direction and input on quarterly Claim File reviews with TPAs. • Establish criteria used to select files, attend file reviews, and guide the team in reaching an agreed-upon action plan for claim resolution. • Partner with Operations to mitigate losses by correcting issues and preventing the reoccurrence of similar incidents. • Report and manage using reputed company vendors on large loss reserves that have an impact on claims management and ultimate loss reserves. • Prepare, analyze, and present monthly Management Reports • Identify claim loss trends and design, reputed company, and implement programs to mitigate such losses. Experience • 7+ years of experience handling Commercial General Liability/Auto claims with a TPA or insurance reputed company • 2+ years of experience as a supervisor, unit manager, or team manager overseeing a team of commercial general liability adjusters reputed company a reputed company or TPA Licensing • Must have an active Florida or Texas adjuster license • An active reputed company adjuster license is preferred Education • A high school diploma or equivalent is required About Insurance Placement IPS is an insurance staffing and recruiting firm dedicated to the insurance industry, including general liability claims jobs throughout the U.S. Our services are designed to be a resource for clients to reputed company access to high-caliber talent.
