Requirements
One year of custodial experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved. Medium, maximum lift 50 lbs., frequent lift/carry up to 30 lbs. Paraprofessional l - Full Time Position Location Various Buildings Description The Gateway School District is accepting applications for a Paraprofessional. An instructional paraprofessional is a school employee who works under the direction of a certificated staff member to support and assist in providing instructional programs and services to children with disabilities or eligible young children. The support and assistance includes one-on-one or group review of material taught by certificated staff, classroom management and implementation of positive behavior support plans. Services may be provided in a special education class, regular education class or other instructional setting as provided in the students IEP.

Requirements
Earned Associates Degree or a minimum of 48 college credits completed at an accredited institution or willingness to take on-line training for certification; able to be trained in CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications; ability to work independently and cooperatively; excellent verbal and written skills in communicating with diverse audiences; familiar with the educational process; attention to detail; willingness to take responsibility for student well-being; and willing to work in a special education area with school administrators, teachers and other related school personnel.Proficient with Google preferred. Required Documents: Current (dated within five years) Child Abuse, PA State Criminal History and PDE FBI Clearances as required by the Child Protective Services Law and PA School Code at time of hire. School Police Officer Location District Wide Description The Gateway School District is accepting applications for the position of Part-Time School Police Officers to provide a law enforcement presence. Officers primary role is to provide a safe learning environment for all stakeholders by being visible to prevent problems and to be available to handle police related functions.

Honorably discharged from the Pennsylvania State Police or from a Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Municipal Police Force. Must meet qualifications with District-approved weapons.
