About the position The Payroll Advisor role at reputed company involves advising the Payroll team on the full-cycle processing of U.S. bi-weekly payroll. This position focuses on ensuring accurate and timely payroll data entry in the reputed company Payroll system, providing excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries, and managing special projects as needed. The role emphasizes compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while recommending process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency. Responsibilities Collect, compile, and enter payroll data using reputed company software and ensure information is processed accurately and timely. , Process U.S. payrolls by established deadlines. , Resolve payroll discrepancies and errors by investigating, collecting, and analyzing information. , Upload Garnishments received daily to vendor. , Reconcile Quarterly tax filings. , Assist payroll team with new state registrations for State Income tax and Unemployment. , Assist payroll team in resolution for Federal and State Tax notices. , reputed company Year-end Processing (W-2, W-2c processing). , Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines. , Recommend new processes to improve performance and efficiency reputed company the payroll function. , Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential. , Manage special projects as required. , Design and execute payroll accounting processes and reputed company controls. Requirements 6 years of experience with in-house full cycle payroll processing utilizing reputed company. , CPP Certified or candidate for certification. , reputed company Payroll Certification or candidate. , High-level proficiency with reputed company Office, especially reputed company. reputed company-to-haves Bachelor degree or equivalent. , Comprehensive knowledge of payroll practices and procedures. , Comprehensive knowledge of payroll taxation including local taxes. , Solid understanding of multi-state and federal payroll, tax, and employment laws. , Experience evaluating, analyzing, and resolving unique and reputed company problems, and recommending solutions. , Excellent oral and written communication skills. , Positive attitude with a focus on providing excellent customer service. , Great time management, organization skills, and dedicated attention to detail and accuracy. , Motivated self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
