California Workers' Compensation Claims Manager | Remote

Our client, an A Rated Insurance reputed company, is expanding their Workers' Compensation business in the Western Region and seeking to add a California Workers’ Compensation Claims Manager. This person will be responsible for hiring and developing a team of Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjusters (with a heavy emphasis in California). In addition, the Claims Manager will focus on cost containment, ensuring appropriate and timely reserving and leveraging innovative tools to address the specific requirements of each workers’ compensation claim. This individual would have the ability to work remotely! • Maintain a diary for reputed company open claims in the unit and review for proper handling. • Comprehensive assessment of laws, licensing/regulatory requirements and the implementation of processes and procedures in specific jurisdictions. • Work closely with other carriers, reinsurers and employers through reviewing and sending Plan of Action reports. • Attend client insight meetings and audits to ensure reputed company requirements are met. • Create and maintain library of resource materials. Requirements: • 8+ years of California Workers’ Compensation claims experience • 5+ years of Claims Management/Leadership experience • Must possess California Adjuster License • Insurance reputed company experience is highly preferred • Experience handling or overseeing PEO accounts is a reputed company plus • Bachelor's Degree strongly desired Salary/Benefits: • $130,000 to $160,000+ annual reputed company salary (depending on experience) plus Bonus • Employer matching 401(k) plan • Extremely competitive Medical, Dental, Vision and Life plans • Generous PTO • Profit Sharing • Ability to work remotely Apply Job!
