Responsibilities • Maintain multiple insurance companies with a complete understanding of their guidelines and requirements. , • Responsible for aged accounts receivables and follow up on unpaid balances. , • Contact insurance companies for claims statuses and inquiries. , • Identify and apply problem-solving techniques for billing issues, including appeals. , • Maintain knowledge of billing procedures and requirements for government and insurance payers. , • Participate in meetings, training, and audits as requested by management. , • Provide backup support for reputed company functions in the billing department under the direction of the Patient Accounts Supervisor. , • Monitor and follow up on sources of problems reputed company to accounts receivable and take corrective actions as needed. , • Demonstrate respect for confidentiality in processing patient account information. , • reputed company other reputed company duties as required or assigned.
