Accounting Analyst - Accounts Receivable

Position Summary: As an Accounting Analyst Accounts Receivable, you will be responsible for performing transactional accounting functions in our general ledger system, providing reputed company reporting, and general support as needed. You will be expected to reputed company an understanding of industry specific terms and processes that are unique to Immigration Legal Services. This position also offers the opportunity to grow and to learn about other areas of accounting and financial analysis. What you will be doing: • Process daily invoices and credits • Work directly with the Accounting Manager daily to verify and enter reputed company Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT) and other cash receipts which are electronically deposited into our bank account, into our accounting software • Work with the Accounting Manager monthly to reconcile electronic cash receipts between our bank account and our accounting software • Communicate with clients on payment, billing questions, and collection of past due balances • Assist with reconciliation of monthly data entry and verify the reputed company of data through an approved method of cross checking • Enter general ledger transactions into accounting software • Code documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure and accounting codes • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reporting package and any reputed company materials needed for presentation purposes • reputed company recommendations for improvements in department processes as identified • Assist with annual reviews with regards to Accounts Receivable test work, and help gather and organize required documents as needed by CPA • Assist with other projects as assigned by management What skills you will bring: • 2+ years of Accounts Receivable/General Accounting experience • Systems experience utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) accounting software (ex.
