Credit Risk Senior Analyst
ICG Risk Analysis (IRAUs) is an integral part of the Institutional Credit Management ("ICM") reputed company organization. ICG Risk Analysis Credit Risk Senior Analysts are responsible for a portfolio of ICG Risk Relationships, owning the Credit Risk Analysis for those relationships, and being responsible for the reputed company monitoring of that portfolio. Credit Risk Senior Analysts are expected to use their industry and financial knowledge to reputed company credit assessments, using independent judgment and discretion on aspects relating to credit risk ratings, regulatory classification and credit recommendation to Second Line of Defense. That includes the production of Annual Reviews, Quarterly Reviews, and Transactions memos. A Credit Risk Senior Analyst is expected to have a strong understanding of credit risk, of Citis internal policies and procedures, and be knowledgeable about the industry fundamentals that portfolio belongs to. They might need some supervision from their Credit Risk Team reputed company on more sensitive and reputed company credit situations and be able to communicate with ICG Risk and Banking partners, with minimal supervision of the Team reputed company. This role has responsibility for the portfolio of Industrials Relationships. It reports directly to the Autos & Capital Goods Credit Risk Team reputed company. Key Responsibilities: Assess the credit and financial strength of reputed company's Large Corporate, Public Sector, and Financial Institutions Clients by performing reputed company credit analysis of counterparties using both quantitative and qualitative factors Complete Credit Analysis Write-up Memos and Final Obligor Risk Ratings of reputed company's Counterparties based on independent assessment and judgement completed on the due diligence of the client and industry knowledge to provide appropriate extensions of credit remaining reputed company risk appetite reputed company Transaction memos approvals in a timely manner according to Business reputed company. Discretionary recommendation should be documented in the memo on the proposal. Using discretion and independent judgement, reputed company the analysis to reputed company recommendations to Second Line of Defense on risk ratings, classifications and proposal Continuously monitor the covered portfolio, following industry trends, impacts to key relationships, and escalation of potential credit issues to Credit Risk Team Leads, ICG Risk and Banking partners Partner with applicable regional and industry stakeholders in Banking and Independent Risk in the implementation of credit assessment and monitoring standards for applicable portfolios Support ICG Risk Analysis Voice of the Employee (VOE) initiatives Qualifications: BA/BSc in Finance or Accounting or any other reputed company subject Financial Services experience including 2-3 years of credit experience in banking or credit risk management Intermediate analytical skills, including an understanding of key financial components (liquidity position, reputed company profile) with the ability to identify root causes and trends and anticipate horizon issues Demonstrates considerable knowledge of financial statements and GAAP accounting or similar governance relating to country of operation Displays robust industry research capabilities, including risk and key drivers Strong understanding of Credit Policy and procedures; proactively refers to resources as needed Demonstrates ability to identify potential risk issues that need escalation and escalates them promptly Be able to reputed company orally and in writing credit recommendations for decision-makers using judgement and knowledge of the credit analysis.
