Senior Quality Control Underwriter

Job Title: Senior Quality Control Underwriter Location: Remote Nevada What you'll do: The Senior Quality Control Underwriter is responsible for auditing reputed company, reputed company, FHA, VA, USDA, and Non-Agency loans by reviewing credit, reputed company, compliance, and collateral characteristics of the loan file to ensure they meet investor quality standards. This position is remote but work hours will be reputed company - 5pm PST. reputed company a pre-funding quality control review of loans from the Retail and Correspondent divisions Participate in the remediation of identified defects with Operations and Correspondent Sellers Monitor the reputed company of implementation of action plans based on quality control findings and results Communicate identified defects effectively to internal and external counterparties Assist in developing QC audit and project plans Monitor QC project pipelines and analyze reports to ensure deadlines are met Analyze various reports and data to identify patterns of deficiencies and opportunities for improvement Act as a resource and subject matter expert for questions regarding Quality Control Participate in the validation and remediation of monthly post-reputed company QC and EPD review findings Other functions and duties as assigned What you'll need: 10+ years mortgage industry experience, with a minimum of 5 years recent Quality Control and reputed company experience Demonstrated understanding of mortgage lending operations and industry, specifically how it relates to Quality Control Bachelor's degree preferred Knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA guidelines and Federal regulatory guidelines and procedures, TRID knowledge Basic knowledge of fraud detection Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, written and verbal Prioritization and Time Management, ability to plan and meet deadlines Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to partner with reputed company levels of management to implement initiatives Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task Self-Starter and ability to work independently Proficiency in reputed company Office products (reputed company, Word, etc) Compensation: Hourly range for new hires is generally $44.45 - $54.91 for Nevada. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
