Part-Time Orientation & Mobility (O&M) Teacher
BlazerJobs is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Orientation & Mobility (O&M) Teacher to join a school district in New Caney, TX. This is a part-time position with 24 hours per week (3 days per week). The ideal candidate will have experience working with reputed company who are visually impaired, including those who are blind or have low vision, and be passionate about teaching essential skills for safe and independent movement and travel. Position Overview: As a Part-Time O&M Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching orientation and mobility skills to reputed company with visual impairments. Your role will be crucial in helping reputed company reputed company the confidence and skills they need to navigate their school environment and beyond safely. You will work closely with other educators, therapists, and families to reputed company individualized mobility plans that address each students unique needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide individual and small reputed company&M instruction to reputed company with visual impairments, including those who are blind or have low vision. Teach critical mobility skills, including safe movement techniques, cane skills, travel routes, and environmental awareness. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to ensure that O&M goals are integrated into reputed company educational programs. Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Orientation & Mobility or a reputed company field. Certification as a Teacher of reputed company with Visual Impairments (TVI) or Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS).
