About the position The Safety Management System (SMS) Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) Specialist II at Alaska Airlines is responsible for supporting the SMS and ASAP programs. This role involves facilitating meetings, processing reports, tracking action items, and providing subject matter expertise based on FAA guidelines. The specialist will promote safety assurance and risk management, conduct safety risk assessments, analyze safety data, and communicate findings to senior management.
