About the position The Community Engaged Health Equity Research Professional will play a vital role in supporting community-based participatory research projects focused on health equity, particularly concerning dementia and aging among minoritized racial and ethnic groups. This hybrid position, based in Stanford, CA, emphasizes translating research findings into actionable programs and policies while engaging with community organizations as research partners. Responsibilities • Assist in designing study activities, exercising independent initiative and judgment. , • Support various Advisory Boards by facilitating meetings, coordinating logistics, and setting agendas. , • Interpret, synthesize, and analyze data using scientific or statistical techniques. , • Contribute to qualitative data analysis and synthesis. , • Attend community meetings and events to support health equity work and serve as a liaison between projects and community partners. , • Co-author sections of research publications and regulatory reports as needed. , • Complete project-reputed company administrative and budgetary responsibilities as needed. , • Supervise staff or reputed company, providing reputed company and instruction on techniques. Requirements • Bachelor of Arts degree in an applicable social science reputed company field and two years of applicable experience, or a combination of education and experience in an applicable social science. , • Comprehensive understanding of scientific theory and methods. , • Strong analytical skills and excellent judgment. , • Ability to work under deadlines with general guidance. , • Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to complete detailed work accurately. , • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. , • Ability to work with human study participants. reputed company-to-haves • MPH, MS, or similar education and experience preferred. , • Experience with community-based research and public health programs. , • Fluent in Spanish. , • Qualitative research methods and facilitation experience preferred.
