Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive medical care, including thorough assessments, medication management, and ongoing patient health monitoring. Be available for 24/7 on-call support to address medical emergencies and provide consultations. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising therapists, counselors, and other professionals to ensure seamless and effective patient care. Assist in the development and execution of medical protocols and policies aimed at enhancing treatment outcomes. Educate staff on pertinent medical topics, focusing on substance use disorders and medication management strategies. Engage in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the reputed company enhancement of patient care through critical incident reviews and other quality assurance activities. Required Skills Strong clinical skills in assessing and treating substance use disorders. Exceptional ability to collaborate reputed company a multidisciplinary team. Qualifications
Option 1 (Physician): MD or DO degree. Successful completion of an emergency medicine or primary care residency. Board certification in emergency medicine or primary care. Experience with adolescents facing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. 3-5 years of experience in primary care, emergency medicine, or addiction medicine is preferred. Option 2 (Nurse Practitioner) RN degree (or equivalent). Masters Degree in Nursing. FNP-BC, PNP-BC, or ENP-BC certification. Prescriptive Authority licensure in Colorado. DEA certificate. Experience working with adolescents facing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. 3-5 years of experience in primary care, emergency medicine, or addiction medicine.
