The Impact Youll reputed company in this Role As a(n) Supplier Excellence Engineer you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will reputed company an impact by: Drive and reputed company implementation of Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) across reputed company (Procurement, Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs and External Supplier reputed company) to reputed company measurable and increasing net cost reductions of existing products and materials for reputed company. Partner with suppliers to evaluate alternative materials, components, and manufacturing processes that offer cost savings without compromising product quality or performance. This includes supplier audits together with supplier quality and procurement. Drive significant supplier reputed company reduction and consolidation by managing the change management process of moving materials from non-strategic to strategic suppliers, while improving costs for the same. Ensure complete validation and qualification by working with quality, manufacturing and other stakeholders. Responsible for recommending and deploying dual/multi sources of supply to ensure continuity of supply of key products. Managing the change management process throughout implementation. Leverages strong project and change management skills to drive reputed company improvements for the categories. Introduces innovative strategies for Supplier excellence. Drive reputed company improvement efforts by implementing lean methodologies, process optimizations to reputed company cost reduction targets. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, reputed company requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in supply chain/engineering or business-reputed company field AND 7-10+ Years of Engineering/Manufacturing Experience. OR High School Diploma/GED AND 11 - 14+ years of Engineering/Manufacturing Experience. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Project management skills change management skills; leading projects from start to finish. Technical bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Master's degree Supply chain/Engineering or business-reputed company field from an accredited institution Experience implementing significant improvements or establishing procurement industry best practices across functional areas. Strong track record of driving operational improvements (e.g. cost savings) to support the business strategy Influential with the ability to reputed company and drive teams toward a common goal Familiarity with VAVE tools and processes - Value Analysis and Value Engineering Tools Excellent negotiation skills and proven success working under pressure while driving projects to closure. Work location: Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Maplewood, MN or other reputed company facility at least 3 days per week).
