We're committed to bringing passion to the practice of urgent care medicine. PM Pediatric Care is the largest pediatric urgent care network in the country. The company was founded and is still led by PEM physicians with a mission to provide an alternative for children who would otherwise seek emergency care. We are academically driven with >50 practice guidelines, CME-accredited lectures/workshops, a national annual conference, and a fertile base for research and clinical analytics. We have a robust training program for pediatricians with any background, including procedural training, radiology interpretation, and evidence-based approach to illness/injury. PM Pediatric Care is set up like an ED but in a private practice setting with x-ray and lab services on site, great support staff, specialty consultations when necessary (i.e., plastic surgery, orthopedics), and high acuity with a diverse case mix. PM Pediatrics is looking for Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our rapidly growing practice to manage acutely ill and injured telemedicine patients. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Our Telemedicine Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants are responsible for evaluating and treating pediatric patients in the telemedicine setting. Critical thinking, multitasking, and teamwork are essential to performing at PM Pediatrics. While patient care will be the primary job responsibility, PM Pediatrics offers room for growth and the opportunity to participate in various administrative, teaching, and research interests. Our employees are expected to deliver impeccable customer service and treat all patients as if they are family. • Pediatric experience • Pediatric Emergency Room, Pediatric Intensive Care, or Pediatric Urgent Care experience preferred • Telemedicine experience preferred • Ability to efficiently use new software and technology • Empathic communicator with families • Strong organizational and time management skills • Appropriate licensing in states evaluating patients • Masters of Science in Nursing or Doctoral degree in Nursing required or Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program • Licensed as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state you are applying • Board Certificate by ANCC or NCCPA If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
