About the Role
As a Business Development Representative,you will play a pivotal role in our growth strategy, focusing on expanding our network and partnerships within the insurance and financial sectors across APAC. You will work closely with industry leaders and leverage your analytical skills to drive market research, identify opportunities, and contribute to the development of new products and strategic initiatives. What You Will Do Conduct business development activities, including outreach and meetings with potential clients such as insurance companies, banks, brokers, and agency partners across the APAC region and internationally. Perform comprehensive market research to identify new products, emerging markets, competitors, potential partners, and distribution channels. Explore partnership opportunities by engaging with potential collaborators to foster mutually beneficial relationships. Collaborate directly with senior management e.g. CEO and Deputy CEO to gain insights and contribute to strategic decisions in the insurance and insurtech sectors. Research fintech and insurtech startups and solutions that align with our business objectives, assessing their potential integration into our offerings. Actively participate in startup and fintech events, including investor round-tables and conferences, to expand our network and industry presence across APAC. Manage and maintain LinkedIn profiles to enhance our branding and visibility, building a consistent and positive corporate image. What We Need Bachelors degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field 2-3 years of relevant experience in B2B business development, preferably within the insurance industry or a consulting firm. Strong interest in fintech, entrepreneurship, insurance, business development, and marketing. Excellent communication and presentation skills with proficiency in English, (Cantonese and Mandarin is a plus) Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Self-motivated team player capable of working independently and under pressure in a fast-paced startup environment. Design and tech-based skills are advantageous.
