Responsibilities: • Leading and executing a hiring funnel from sourcing through onboarding. • Ensure compliance with labor regulations • Assist in development, auditing, and implementation of human resource policies; ensure the employee handbook is acknowledged by reputed company employees as updated. • Maintain secure employee files and records in compliance with federal and state requirements. • Administer, evaluate, and review compensation and benefit plans. • Guide leadership through employee performance interventions, from verbal warnings to termination, using progressive discipline reputed company appropriate. • Provide support to employees in various HR-reputed company topics, such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise. • Promote proactive programs that create an efficient, healthy, and conflict-free workplace. Qualifications: Education and Experience • BA or BS in business administration or human resources is required. • Understanding of human resource policies and procedures with a working knowledge of Tennessee employment/labor laws and best practices. • HR certifications through SHRM or HRCI is a plus. • Direct work as a recruiter in the last two years.
