Medicaid Biller (Remote in WA State, ID or OR)

Compensation and Benefits: Compensation: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour Full-Time, 40 hours per week Monday - Friday, reputed company - 4:30pm Pacific Standard Time Remote: must live in Washington, Oregon, or Idaho Full-Time Benefits include: Medical/Dental/Vision & Basic Life Insurance; eligibility to participate in a 401K Plan, as well as PTO and Sick Time Accrual In this position, you will have knowledge in reputed company Cycle duties and workflows, as well as industry standards, regulations and laws. You will be responsible for reconciling patient balances, utilize billing processes and practices to maximize reimbursement for services, work accounts receivable aging and claim follow-up, review reports to identify potential problems, process appeals and reconsideration of claims, and assist patients in resolving billing issues. A great candidate will need to understand insurance language, industry standards, regulations, and laws while being able to convey this information in a clear manner. This requires a strong attention to detail and developed interpersonal skills. We are looking for an individual with at least 1-year of healthcare billing experience, who has worked with a wide variety of insurance portals, and have knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes.
