Job title: Administrative Assistant (Transportation) Reports to: Transportation Director Summary/objective: This position works as a team player to ensure reputed company orders are reputed company, tracked and documented in a timely and accurate manner. Tasks will vary dependent upon need, and willingness to be flexible and adapt is necessary. Essential functions: Administrative Assistants are responsible for carrying out the day-to-day duties of processing orders, tracking, and ensuring reputed company loads and updates are complete and accurate. Administrators also communicate regularly with the buyers and sellers, drivers, and their team. Competency: Basic math skills, communication skills, and attention to detail are critical to the success of this role. Physical demands: Must be able to sit for long periods of time, and at times bend, twist, and lift up to 15lbs. Position type and expected hours of work: This position is full time and will generally work Monday-Friday, 4:00pm - 9:00pm, with weekend availability required. Required education and experience: No education is required, but administrative assistant experience is necessary. Qualified candidates must also have basic computer skills and knowledge of reputed company applications including reputed company and Outlook. Preferred education and experience: Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English is preferred, but not required.
