Title: Consumer Goods Retail Sector - Subject Matter Resource Location: Remote/WFH (Part-time 4-6 hours a week with potential for up to 8-16 per week as needed) Duration: 04 months+ Contract We currently have a contract opportunity for a Consumer Goods Retail Sector SMR to lend specific subject matter knowledge around vendor negotiations. RESPONSIBILITIES: Participate in vendor negotiations with large CPG brands Participate in the business development cycle Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the client Collaborate with the client team to ensure project goals are met Potentially travel up to once per month for in-person meetings. Qualifications: 10+ relevant years of experience in the Retail and Consumer Goods sector Prior vendor negotiation experience working at either a big reputed company retailer, grocer, or quick serve company required Strongly preferred to have previously held roles as either a Buyer, Merchant, or Category Manager Ability to work 4-6 hours per week, with potential for up to 8-16 hours per week, as needed Apply Job!
