About the Client Our client is a leading provider of AI-powered vacation rental software, empowering hosts to automate their business operations. They offer a comprehensive suite of tools including guest communication, channel management, and direct booking capabilities. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and operational efficiency of our fast-growing vacation rental software company. Your attention to detail, integrity, and proactive approach will contribute directly to our continued success and expansion. The Impact you’ll make • Maintain financial clarity and accuracy for multiple business entities • Enable timely reporting and analysis for management and accounting teams • Contribute to the overall financial health and compliance of the businesses Your Tasks: • Attend to monthly financial reports, records of payments and adjustments, ledger data entry, and daily accounting tasks. • Oversee a company’s financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, among others • Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct daybook, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger. • Extract and categorize financial data from bank and expense statements • Record transactions accurately in Excel spreadsheets • Prepare and organize financial data for month-end reporting • Meet strict deadlines to provide journals to the accounting team • Handle transactions from multiple businesses simultaneously • Adapt to varying workloads and prioritize tasks effectively What to Expect? • Must be willing to work overtime. • The target deadline is the end of the month, ensuring the client can provide the journal to her accounting team on time. • Flexible work hours within CET timezone • The rate is $7/hour. • High attendance expectations. • Must have no prior commitments that could affect work engagement. • Must commit to a minimum of 40 hours a week. • Must be able to commit to a minimum 6-month contract.
