Dispatch Coordinator Tue-Sat 2nd Shift The Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for the effective management and coordination of a fleet of drivers and vehicles for multiple locations. The Dispatch Coordinator will work independently, serving as the first point-of-contact for drivers to rely on regarding deliveries and pickups. One of the most fundamental aspects in this role will be helping the operations run efficiently, assist with day-to-day needs, and essentially, having the flexibility to multi-task and complete assignments timely. A great opportunity for a dedicated, and reliable individual. What You Will Do Communicate with operations daily to assess dispatching needs. Schedule and dispatch drivers and agents to appropriate locations according to customer requests. Act as liaison between drivers and customer to effectively complete service. Thorough record-keeping, periodical route surveillance, and time logs reviews to be performed daily. Coordinate vehicle maintenances such as repairs, washes, and substitutes. Report operation status and flagged issues periodically to management. Other duties as assigned. What You Bring At least 1 year of customer service experience Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED Be proficient in: Microsoft-Word, Excel, Outlook & data entry and type 30 WPM Knowledge of US and world geography and time zones is preferred Call Center experience is preferred Must have outstanding communication, customer service, and organizational skills Be able to operate in a fast-paced and demanding environment Be flexible - with the ability to work additional hours as business requires Benefits & Perks We offer competitive pay, paid vacation and sick time, 401(k) match, multiple health plans, and much more.
