Weekend Overnight Obstetrics Care Provider (NP/CNM)

We measure ourselves by reductions in preterm births, NICU admissions, c-sections and maternal mortality; we improve outcomes and reduce healthcare spend. Role Description Your North Star: Provide direct patient care overnight through chat, phone, and video to Pomelo patients. In this role you will: Engage in direct obstetrics patient care on Saturdays 8pm-8am ET as a Pomelo provider Assess urgent concerns and proactively triage patients to support... appropriate utilization of emergency services Complete documentation of all overnight patient encounters Collaborate with daytime clinical staff to ensure smooth transition of care for patients who contacted us overnight Represent the Pomelo practice in a warm and professional manner Demonstrate humility, accountability, and initiative internally as well as in patient interactions Requirements: Have 4+ years experience in obstetrics care as a CNM or WHNP/FNP Reside in a nursing compact state Are internet-connected, able to work remotely via video, phone and text Are willing to get licensed in multiple states Flexible and agile thinker who embraces change Bonus points for: Telehealth and/or remote monitoring experience Experience in outpatient or home-based management of higher-risk patients Why you should join our team: By joining Pomelo, you will get in on the ground floor of a fast-moving, well-funded, and mission-driven startup where you will have a profound impact on the patients we serve.
