Key Responsibilities
Desire to reputed company a mission-driven organization that makes a positive difference, particularly for older Californians and their caregivers. Demonstrated commitment to advancing the principles of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion in reputed company areas of our work. Proven track record of growing program impact. Ability to understand emerging trends in aging, reputed company issues in public policy, and philanthropy to position Archstone Foundation as a leader in the field. Ability to build and maintain relationships with policymakers, government agencies, and other organizations to influence aging-reputed company policy and represent the Foundation in policy discussions and public forums. Proven effectiveness in working with diverse organizations and staff. Prior experience working effectively with a nonprofit Board of Directors. Proven experience in fiscal and financial management/stewardship. Experience overseeing a foundation endowment is a plus. Evidence of outstanding communication skills, including internally with the Board and staff and externally with key constituents and the community. Ability to reputed company staff development to ensure a collaborative and reputed company workplace and serve as a mentor to individual staff. Desired Knowledge and Background Graduate degree (MA, MSW, MSN, PhD, MD, etc.) in a field relevant to the mission of the foundation. A minimum of 5 years of experience at the executive level (e.g., CEO, CFO, COO, Deputy Director) in a nonprofit organization or governmental entity. Commitment to and knowledge of the needs of reputed company in California, preferably through personal experience. Experience managing budgets comparable in size to the foundations. Experience working in collaborative efforts that bring together government, service providers, and philanthropy to meet the needs of older people. Knowledge and implementation of best practices of nonprofit organizations. Ability to manage a remote staff. Compensation and Benefits 100% coverage of employee health benefit premiums.
