We are currently looking for native English (US) speakers to participate in our Celandine Data Collection project. What is the project about? The purpose of this project is to collect voice recordings in order to improve speech recognition technologies. Task Description: For this project, participants will have to read short commands and questions typically used when interacting with a virtual assistant, following the guidelines provided. This project consists of 3 independent tasks (Task A, Task B and Task C). All three tasks are identical in nature; the only difference is the number of sentences that will be recorded. Each participant can choose to participate in either Task A, Task B or C. Participating in more than one task is not possible. A team member will contact selected participants within 2 weeks of registration with further instructions, based on their chosen task. Who is eligible? To participate you should meet the following qualifying criteria: • Be over 18 years... old • Be a resident of the United States • Be native speaker of English (US) • Own or have access to a smartphone and a headset or earphones to use during recording. Where is the project taking place? This is a fully remote project. You can participate from the comfort of your home. How much is the compensation? Your compensation will depend on which task you successfully complete: • Task A: $30 USD (we estimate it will take you about 60 minutes to complete the recordings for this task). • Task B: $45 USD (we estimate it will take you 90 minutes to complete the recordings for this task). • Task C: $90 USD (we estimate it will take you 160 minutes to complete the recordings for this task). As payment method, we offer PayPal, Gift Card, Wire Transfer and Check according to your preference.* Please note that all submissions will be checked by our Quality Assurance team and compensation will be provided for fully completed and accepted assets.
