Description: As a Remote Document Typist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and updating our documentation. This role involves typing, editing, and formatting various documents, ensuring accuracy and relevance. You will work closely with different teams across the organization to gather, collate and present information. Our ideal candidate possesses excellent typing skills with a keen eye for detail. We value self-starters who can thrive in a fast-paced remote environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. Requirements: 1. Proven experience as a Typist, Data Entry Clerk, or Data Entry Operator 2. Fast and accurate typing skills; Knowledge of touch typing is a plus 3. Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.) 4. Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware 5. Basic understanding of databases 6. Great attention to detail 7. High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree from a recognized institution will be a plus Responsibilities: 1. Typing, editing, and formatting documents 2. Verifying data by comparing it to source documents 3. Updating existing data 4. Retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested 5. Performing regular backups to ensure data preservation 6. Reporting any discrepancies in data 7. Maintaining confidentiality and secure backup for sensitive information Educational Qualifications: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a relevant field would be an advantage.
