Job Description: Overall Purpose: As a direct sales position, generates new sales of AT&T products and services to residential customers. Key Roles and Responsibilities: In the residential customers home, sells AT&T products and services in coordination with a Direct TV install. Assists residential customers with setting up new devices sold by the consultant during the home visit. Achieve sales and service objectives. Receive daily schedule for a specific area or territory. Track and report activities through established processes and procedures. For employees working in Colorado, the District of Columbia, Minnesota, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Washington, or Wisconsin, this job key applies to employees who spend at least 80% of their time performing duties directly related to making sales away from their offices at a customers place of business or home. Duties directly related to making sales includes: Meeting with customers and engaging in sales activities at the customers site; communicating with customers via phone, teleconference, e-mail, etc. related to proposed solutions/sales, etc.; traveling to and from the customers premise for the purpose of engaging in sales activities; providing subject matter expertise regarding technical issues relating to sales; advising customers on suitability of products based on technical needs; preparing proposals, presentations, or bids, including developing pricing, developing strategic plans related to the customer and the proposed solutions/sales; researching and developing customer solutions with AT&T external partners, including design and engineering; and researching customers business and industry to identify new sales opportunities. Education: High School Diploma preferred. Experience: 1 3 years Direct Sales Experience preferred.
