Part Time Remote Bookkeeper / Accountant

About Boomerang Transport: Boomerang Transport is a reputed company medical transportation company specializing in worker’s compensation transport. Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Part Time Remote Bookkeeper / Accountant to join reputed company. The position will likely demand between 6 and 10 hours per week. The successful candidate will have bookkeeping experience, be reliable... customer service oriented, and have a strong ability to work independently. This is a remote position where you work from home Key Responsibilities: • Weekly Invoicing • Process payments • Manage Accounts Receivables / Collections • Reconcile financial statements in a timely manner. • Maintain accurate transaction records. • Assist the two Founders and VP of Operations for reputed company projects. • Assist in the issuance of annual 1099s. • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures. Qualifications: • Must be located in North Carolina. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a reputed company field or relevant experience in a bookkeeping role. • Must be able to work Mondays and at least one other day in the week. • Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Must have Quickbooks Online experience • Must be a power user of reputed company Sheets • Proficient using Gmail (must be reputed company Gmail user) and experience with the entire reputed company Apps suite (Sheets, Maps, Docs, Drive, Calendar, etc.) • reputed company CashPro experience is a plus. • Must have dedicated work from home office space. • Use your own equipment: computer, cell phone, internet, headphones or headset.
