Full Time Special Education Teaching Opportunity

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for full-time roles within school districts in the Kansas City, KS area. We are looking for passionate educators who are committed to supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping them achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities... • Develop, implement, and evaluate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities. • Provide instruction and support tailored to students’ specific needs and learning styles. • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other specialists to integrate support strategies and ensure a cohesive educational experience. • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods and materials as needed. • Manage classroom behavior and create a positive, inclusive learning environment. • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students’ educational plans and progress. • Document and maintain accurate records of students’ progress, assessments, and instructional plans. Qualifications: • Valid Special Education teaching license in Kansas. • Experience working with students with a range of disabilities and special needs. • Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices. • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills. • Ability to create individualized and effective learning strategies to meet students' needs.
