We’re free to join, and Innerworld can be accessed in VR, desktop computers, or mobile devices. Innerworld members have unlimited access to over 200 events each week. Our events are group meetings led by certified guides. Some are on serious... topics like Anxiety, Depression, Recovery, etc., some are more informal and social-focused, and some help you relax with mindfulness or meditation. Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Community Moderator and Customer Support Specialist working on our Community Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and positive engagement of our community members within our online application. Additionally, you will provide exceptional customer support through Zendesk to enhance the overall user experience. Responsibilities: 1. Community Moderation: Monitor user interactions within the application to ensure a safe and supportive environment. Enforce community guidelines and policies to maintain a positive atmosphere. Engage with community members, address concerns, and provide assistance when needed. Welcome and greet new users, fostering a sense of belonging. 2. Customer Support: Respond to user inquiries and support requests via Zendesk in a timely and professional manner. Troubleshoot and resolve user issues effectively, demonstrating empathy and understanding. Collaborate with the technical team to escalate and resolve complex issues. 3. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of user interactions and support requests. Provide insights and feedback to improve community engagement and user satisfaction. Qualifications: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Empathetic and patient with the ability to handle sensitive situations. Familiarity with mental health topics and a commitment to promoting a supportive environment. Previous experience in community moderation and/or customer support is preferred. Ability to adapt to new technologies and platforms. Must have previous experience using Zendesk Academic or professional background in psychology or mental health Bachelor’s degree in psychology preferred Schedule: This is a part-time position with approximately 20-30 hours per week, with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
