We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Part-Time Store Associate to join our team at Walmart. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $15 per hour and consistent work hours that are always under 4 hours per shift. Our part-time Store Associate is a vital part of our customer experience team. Your role will involve helping customers find the items they need, checking out their purchases, and ensuring that our store remains clean and well-stocked. We seek someone who is highly motivated, has a passion for customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented retail environment.
Responsibilities:
– Serving customers by helping them select products.
– Driving sales through effective communication with customers.
– Maintaining an outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
– Recommending merchandise based on individual requirements.
– Assisting with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
Requirements:
– Excellent customer service skills, including a positive, customer-focused attitude.
– Ability to work evenings and weekends.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
– Knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
– Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to read, write and effectively communicate with customers, peers and management.
– Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision.
Educational Qualifications:
– High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
– Prior retail experience is preferred but not necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate.
