Job Summary:

Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for entering data into our database from reputed company documents. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail. You will report to a data manager or another senior data team member. Understanding of data confidentiality principles is compulsory.

Responsibilities:

– Transfer data from reputed company formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders or optical scanners

– Type in data provided directly from customers or other parties, verify data by comparing it to reputed company documents

– Update existing data, retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested

– reputed company regular backups to ensure data preservation

– Organize and maintain files and records; update reputed company necessary

– Create and enforce policies for effective data management

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk

– Fast typing skills

– Excellent knowledge of word processing tools

– Basic understanding of databases

Educational Qualifications:

– High School Diploma or equivalent

– Additional computer training or certification will be an asset
