Job Description:
As a Box Truck Driver, your main responsibility will be to safely and efficiently transport goods from our warehouse to designated locations following pre-defined routes. You will be required to perform daily inspections on your truck, ensure that all goods are properly loaded and secured, and adhere strictly to delivery schedules.
Responsibilities:
– Safely operating the box truck to transport goods on assigned routes.
– Performing daily inspections of the truck and reporting any issues to the maintenance department.
– Loading and unloading goods as per the clients’ specifications.
– Ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and reporting any delays due to weather or traffic conditions.
– Maintaining a clean and safe working environment and ensuring the safety of the goods during transportation.
– Documenting all trips and maintaining accurate records of deliveries.
– Complying with all transportation laws and regulations.
Requirements:
– Valid driver’s license.
– Proven experience as a Box Truck Driver.
– Excellent driving record with no traffic violations.
– Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting and carrying heavy goods.
– Good knowledge of local routes and navigation apps.
– Strong communication and customer service skills.
– High School diploma or equivalent.
