Position Overview: As an IT Systems Engineer Cloud & Virtualization Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and supporting our clients IT infrastructure. You will focus on cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure, and virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V. You will also be responsible for configuring and managing firewalls, ensuring robust network security. This role requires not only strong technical expertise but also a consultative approach, as you will be advising clients on the best solutions to meet their unique needs. IT Systems Engineer MSP | Cloud & Virtualization Specialist Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage virtualization environments using VMware or Hyper-V. Implement, configure, and maintain cloud solutions, with a focus on Microsoft Azure. Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and other network security measures to protect client environments. Provide advanced troubleshooting for escalated issues related to virtualization, cloud infrastructure, and network security. Collaborate with clients to understand their IT needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Lead and participate in IT projects, including migrations, upgrades, and new deployments. Maintain thorough documentation of systems, configurations, and client environments. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide proactive recommendations. IT Systems Engineer MSP | Cloud & Virtualization Specialist Experience: 3+ years of experience within an MSP oenvironment. Strong experience with VMware or Hyper-V, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including virtual networks, VMs, and storage solutions. Solid understanding of firewall configurations, VPNs, and network security best practices. Excellent consultative skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
