Our BD team on Creators directly collaborates with strategic customers to build new, industry-specific partnership opportunities that directly impact and transform the way our Creators can partner, create, and earn from us at scale. Key job responsibilities Amazon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to further scale our relationships with Programmatic Creators. This role will be responsible for directly managing key accounts, recruiting and developing new partnerships and representing the needs of these partners across our department and company. The ideal candidate will have experience leveraging data in their decision making, working with technical products and teams along with excellent negotiation and relationship building skills. You are highly organized, entrepreneurial in spirit, and adept at managing ambiguity, constantly inventing on behalf of creators, and embracing a strong growth mindset. Key Job Responsibilities Include • Manage a dedicated book of business and act as primary point of contact across Amazon • Monitor performance and proactively communicate data analysis for your accounts • Drive toward monthly/quarterly goals that include financial targets and strategic initiatives • Educate and influence internal teams on the role your book of business plays within the broader channel • Develop simplified and scalable solutions for our creators to help reduce our overall cost to serve • Recruit and develop new prospects to ensure we are hitting future targets Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's degree • 6+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience • 6+ years of professional or military experience • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level Preferred Qualifications • Experience in developing, negotiating and executing business agreements • Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders • Experience in basic financial modeling/forecasting • Familiarity with digital and affiliate marketing Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
