A typical week in this position involves: • Engaging with students via the learning management system, addressing their inquiries and issues promptly within a 24-hour timeframe. • Conducting both group and one-on-one supervision sessions. • Managing various aspects of a research project, encompassing research design, data gathering, analysis, and scholarly writing. • Assessing assignments and theses as part of the evaluation process. • Participating in meetings with the teaching staff to discuss various aspects of the program. Qualifications and Competencies: • Hold a Ph.D. in a Psychology-related field (mandatory) • Demonstrated research activity, evidenced by published works in Psychology • Proficiency in crafting and executing online psychology research, suitable for fourth-year research projects • Exhibit strong engagement with students, providing comprehensive support throughout all research stages • Dedication to staying updated in relevant technical domains, through ongoing learning and practice enhancements • Commitment to delivering top-tier online learning experiences using advanced technologies • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, adept at engaging with diverse student and stakeholder groups • Dedication to ongoing professional growth in online teaching and assessment methodologies • Minimum one year of experience in online teaching, preferably in higher education • Experience collaborating with teams and stakeholders spread across various locations • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, during the academic calendar. When considering your suitability for research supervision, Boundless Learning offers three paid supervision options: • Develop and execute a novel (online) research project, including data collection (with available recruitment funds). • Utilize an existing dataset, either your own or sourced from others, for student analysis (requires ethical approval). • Offer primary supervision to students for an ongoing project in collaboration with a university academic, without the need for project design.
