Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Remote General Education Teacher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver live, interactive instruction to elementary students in grades K-5, helping them achieve their academic goals and develop a love for learning. As a Remote General Education Teacher with Vocovision, you will use our advanced virtual classroom platform to create an engaging and effective educational experience. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver live, online instruction to students in grades K-5 in various subjects, including reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies. • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet state and national standards, tailored to the diverse needs of students. • Utilize Vocovision’s virtual classroom tools and resources to create an interactive and engaging learning environment. • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and support to ensure academic success. • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school administrators to address concerns and provide updates on student progress. • Collaborate with other educators and support staff to enhance the overall educational experience for students. • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and technology advancements. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). • Valid teaching certification for grades K-5 in the state of Ohio. • Proven experience teaching elementary students, with a strong understanding of curriculum and instructional strategies. • Comfortable using virtual classroom technology and tools, with a willingness to adapt to new technologies as needed. • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting, managing time effectively and meeting deadlines.
