Magical is looking for a creative and strategic YouTuber who can be the on-camera talent and strategic brains behind our channel. The Impact You'll Make: You'll be the driving force (and face!) behind our YouTube channel, crafting and filming engaging content that attracts viewers, grows our subscriber base, and goes viral. You'll collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to develop video strategies that showcase Magical's unique value and benefits. What You'll Do: • Become the YouTube Guru: Develop a content strategy for the channel, identify core topics, and brainstorm video ideas that boost engagement, click-through rates, and subscriber growth. • Research: Dive deep into Magical's offerings, analyze competitor content and industry trends, and conduct keyword research to optimize video performance. • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team on scheduling and content calendars. • Scripting: Craft compelling scripts with clear calls to action, keeping viewers hooked and informed. • Shooting & Production: Shoot and upload at least 2 videos a week. Collaborate with the video editor and create shot lists and thumbnail plans to ensure smooth production. • Analyze: Analyze previous videos and competitor channels to identify areas for improvement. You've Got the Skills: • Technical Expertise: Possess a high-quality DSLR camera, microphone, and lighting setup. • Magnetic Personality: Be a natural on camera with a captivating presence. • Subject Matter Mastery: Be a go-to expert in automation, productivity, AI, or a similar field. • Growth Mindset: Embrace constructive feedback and use it to refine your approach. Learn from failures and iterate for improvement. • Content Passionate: Possess a passion for video content creation and social media. • Data-Driven Decision Making: Be an analytical thinker who uses performance data to inform your content strategy. • Team Player: Collaborate effectively and deliver high-quality work on schedule. Experience You Bring: • 2+ years of experience as a content creator on YouTube • 2+ years of experience with video production (experience working with a video editor a plus!) • Proven track record of creating engaging video content Content Creation FAQs: • Video Length: Primarily focus on long-form TOFU (top-of-funnel) videos (5-8 minutes), with the opportunity to experiment with short-form content on YouTube Shorts. • Video Editing: We'll have a dedicated video editor and thumbnail designer to bring your creations to life! You'll focus on ideation, video production, and content strategy. • Video Topics: You'll play a key role in identifying the best topics and keywords to target.
