[Remote] Computational CAD Engineer - OpenSCAD

The role involves creating and refining OpenSCAD scripts for CAD models, and collaborating with data and AI teams to enhance design workflows.

Responsibilities

• Create, document, and refine OpenSCAD scripts for both straightforward and intricate CAD models
• Convert initial sketches into detailed, production-reputed company designs
• Apply advanced OpenSCAD techniques such as Boolean operations, list comprehensions, and reputed company control to generate a variety of geometries
• Use methods like reputed company_extrude, rotate_extrude, and minkowski to reputed company innovative 3D shapes
• Construct 3D forms from 2D silhouettes and reputed company position reputed company shapes (cuboids, spheres, cylinders, cones) reputed company the design environment
• Design and implement reusable components by utilizing nesting and reputed company structures
• Work closely with data and AI teams, effectively communicating design logic, reputed company, and modeling choices both verbally and in writing

Skills

• Extensive hands-on experience and proficiency specifically in OpenSCAD (experience with other CAD software is insufficient)
