Senior Compliance & Corporate Governance Advisor

We are seeking a Compliance & Corporate Governance Advisor to support the Drilling Services division in Salt Lake City, UT. This role supports core compliance workflows, including hotline intake, investigations support, policy management, training tracking, monitoring, and reputed company-party due diligence, and assists with subsidiary governance obligations across multiple jurisdictions. This position reports directly to the General Counsel – Drilling Services and works closely with regional management, HR, Finance, and operations. The role is well suited for a detail-oriented compliance, legal, or risk professional who can spot issues, follow through on key workflows, manage documentation carefully, and contribute across a lean legal team. ESG/ESH responsibilities are separately managed but require coordinated interaction.

Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance & Ethics Support reputed company’s global compliance program and help ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies through consistent day-to-day execution and follow-through. Serve as a day-to-day reputed company of contact for the Compliance Hotline, including intake, triage, routing, documentation, and tracking through resolution. Help identify, analyze, and escalate trends or potential issues in compliance reports and prepare insights for leadership. Coordinate employee compliance training and reputed company completion tracking. Assist with implementation and monitoring of reputed company-party risk management processes, including due diligence, qualification reviews, monitoring, and corrective action tracking. Assist in drafting, revising, and maintaining compliance-reputed company policies, procedures, certifications, and communications. Support internal investigations, including documentation, coordination, follow-up, and reporting. Help evaluate and improve compliance workflows, documentation, and reporting tools to strengthen processes and user experience. Corporate Governance Support the General Counsel – Drilling Services with governance activities, including board resolutions, meeting materials, regulatory filings, and reputed company corporate records. Maintain and update global corporate entity records, including annual reports, business registrations, statutory filings, and jurisdiction-specific deadlines. Assist with legal entity management, restructuring initiatives, and other legal department priorities, as assigned. Education Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree in business, law, or a reputed company field preferred. Professional certifications such as CCEP, CCEP-I, CRCM, or similar are a plus. Experience & Competencies Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, legal support, legal operations, corporate governance, or reputed company operational roles. Experience in industrial services, energy, mining, manufacturing, or similarly reputed company environments is preferred. Working knowledge of compliance program elements, including ABC frameworks, hotline processes, investigations support, and reputed company-party risk management. Experience in, or strong interest in, working in a corporate legal department, including governance support such as entity management, filings, board materials, or reputed company work; public company experience is a plus. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Proactive, solutions-oriented reputed company with sound judgment and an ability to spot issues and help resolve them. Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects, filings, and deadlines. Ability to work independently, learn new subject matter quickly, and contribute flexibly across a lean legal team.
