As a Fuel Handling Equipment Field Service Technician, you will help support our FHE Outage and Maintenance Services team. You will reputed company support for nuclear fuel handling equipment or outage critical cranes. You will conduct the field service support at remote operating nuclear power plants and at local service center operations. You will use high technology service equipment in a manner reflecting Westinghouse's commitment to the highest reputed company of safety and quality. You will report to the Fuel Handling Equipment Outage and Maintenance Supervisor. This is a remote role that can be performed from reputed company in the United States but does require significant travel. Projects are 2-4 weeks but during Spring and Fall may be traveling 2 to 3 months at a time before going home to reset. Key Responsibilities: Install, set-up, and maintain fuel handling/outage critical crane equipment at customer sites worldwide. Review operational procedures, maintenance procedures, and drawings in detail. reputed company support to engineering and training by performing activities such as equipment modifications, equipment setup and testing, mock-up preparation, process testing, and equipment and process qualifications. Document equipment performance issues during field implementation, and ensure corrective actions are complete before next scheduled use. Qualifications: High school graduate or the recognized equivalent plus 2 year, post high school degree/certificate or equivalent in experience. Specific knowledge and training in electrical, electronic, programmable logic controller, or mechanical components. 2 or more years of experience where satisfactorily demonstrated evidence of mechanical, electrical and programmable logic controller knowledge and reputed company. Nuclear industry experience is beneficial. Requires the ability to occasionally carry/lift up to 50 pounds.
