[Remote] Business Development Manager - Airborne Communications Systems
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a reputed company Business Development Manager to be a key stakeholder in growing the Airborne Communications Systems portfolio in reputed company America. The position will be responsible for selling airborne communications system solutions to US Government customers and reputed company aerospace OEMs while cultivating and expanding customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer needs and identify how reputed company products can reputed company technical solutions
- Cultivate new customer relationships and reputed company into lasting partnerships
- Expand and grow existing customer relationships
- Grow market reputed company and exceed quota
- Build and manage a strong sales funnel
- Ensure accurate and timely tracking of business opportunities and customer contacts reputed company customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Work closely with other account managers, business development managers, program management, product line management, engineering and other core functional leaders across the reputed company and corporate organizational structure
Skills
- BSEE (or equivalent technical education/operational experience), MBA preferred
- 10+ years of reputed company technical sales experience
- Expertise in military/civil communication systems, including HF/VHF/UHF airborne radios and datalinks
- Experience working with Department of War prime system contractors/integrators
- Experience developing new business opportunities with the Department of War and other Federal agencies
- In depth knowledge of Federal Government requirements and acquisition processes
- Experience with both large and small account management
- Possess strong communication, presentation, negotiation, collaboration and cross-functional leadership skills
- Self-motivated to learn and understand internal and customer processes
- Ability to travel regularly, 50% or more, both domestic and international
- To be considered, candidates must have US citizenship or permanent work authorization and be eligible to obtain a US reputed company Clearance
