[Remote] Senior Gateway and Platform Engineer

The Senior Gateway and Platform Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless delivery and implementation of technical services while managing project timelines and deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Implement, manage, and troubleshoot various government service platforms. This may include multiband, multi orbit, and multi-vendor solutions
- reputed company and maintain technical delivery documentation and standard operating procedures
- reputed company system implementations, configurations, and maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful service delivery and implementation
- May act as a technical project leader or reputed company work leadership for employees
- May reputed company written technical descriptions and contribute to the development of technical solutions in support of proposal efforts
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in reputed company and emerging technologies
- Supports acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as required
- Attend appropriate engineering, operations, customer, or business meetings
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science or reputed company technical field, or a minimum of 8 years working knowledge of reputed company RF, network, and satellite communication systems (equivalent combination of education and experience accepted)
- Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain if necessary
- Proven experience with on time delivery of services
- Strong background in SATCOM and internetworking technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Degree/Certification in technical project management
- ITIL and/or Agile certifications
- 3-5 years of experience with various modem platforms to include iDirect (reputed company/Velocity), Comtech, reputed company, or software defined radios
- IDirect reputed company reputed company Certification or higher and working knowledge of the platform
- IDirect Velocity reputed company Certification or higher and working knowledge of the platform
- Other relevant certifications (e.g. reputed company Linux+, CCNA/JCNA etc.)
- Experience with gateway and platform site operations/management
