[Remote] Mechanical Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design HVAC systems for various building projects while supporting decarbonization planning and facility improvement projects. The role involves leading MEP design, conducting site assessments, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
Responsibilities

- Prepare and modify engineering documents, including drawings and specifications using Revit and AutoCAD
- Finalize the selection of equipment and materials for HVAC installations
- Resolve issues impacting budget, scope, and schedule by evaluating alternate schemes and value engineering options, as applicable, to mitigate project risks
- Support the completion of preliminary and detailed facility studies to identify energy conservation opportunities and required system renewal projects

- Coordinate with subconsultants, designers, vendors, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met
- Interact with our in-house construction and estimating team to reputed company, review and in some instances, iterate, on cost estimates and design concepts
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited school
- Licensed Professional Engineer and willing to be licensed in states as needed
- 7+ years of experience as a mechanical engineer for building systems
- Strong knowledge of HVAC principles
- Understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards reputed company to HVAC, controls, and plumbing systems
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with reputed company, CAD, and Revit
- Experience with load calculation software
- Familiarity with designing controls, electrical, and plumbing systems, in addition to mechanical systems
- Knowledge of energy-efficient technologies and how to design them to optimize system performance
- Project management skills for overseeing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines
- Licensed in CO and WA
