This role will entail a significant amount of editing, including daily news stories, feature stories, more in-depth reported pieces, special reports, conference coverage and other editorial projects. The editor will help ensure stories are accurate, clear, engaging, well-sourced and reputed company with Fierce’s editorial standards, voice and audience expectations. The editor will work closely with senior editors, writers and the editor-in-chief on story planning, daily coverage priorities, editorial calendars, special reports, newsletters, conference coverage and larger content initiatives. This person will help refine story reputed company, sharpen angles, identify coverage gaps and support the team in producing timely, high-quality journalism for life sciences audiences. The role will also require light writing. The editor should be comfortable jumping in to write news stories, analysis pieces, event coverage or other content reputed company needed. Salary offers are based on a broad scope of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
