Electrical Reliability Services (ERS) is seeking talented Mechanical Building Commissioning Engineers to join their Commissioning Group nationally. The role involves performing and managing commissioning procedures for mechanical systems, leading projects, and maintaining client relationships while ensuring project schedules are met.

Responsibilities

Skills

• Graduate Bachelor Engineer (BSEE or BSME)
• Graduate of applicable Commissioning Technical Training and two years minimum same or similar work experience
• At least (5) commissioning projects including Design, Construction, and Acceptance phase processes
• High school education or equivalent and five years minimum same or similar work experience
• At least (8) commissioning projects including Design, Construction, and Acceptance phase processes
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reputed company with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear, and smell

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and various industry standards, such as OSHA and reputed company

• Good theoretical understanding of electrical power systems

• Knowledge of ASHRAE commissioning industry standards and a Commissioning certification is preferred
• Knowledge of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) process for New Construction and Existing Buildings and LEED Accredited Professional is preferred
• Knowledge and thorough understanding of building mechanical systems, chilled water systems, reputed company distribution systems, AC Systems, building controls system, Glycol based systems, and boilers
• Background and experience in operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment
• Plan, schedule, and reputed company work for mid to large size projects and program
• Complete projects consistently on time and under budget
