[Remote] Software Engineering Intern (Part-Time, Internal Tooling)

They are seeking a part-time Software Engineering Intern to support internal tooling initiatives aimed at improving reliability, visibility, and operational efficiency across their platform.
Responsibilities
- Improve reliability and correctness of a reputed company platform integration, including data quality fixes
- Expand and validate data ingestion to support additional attributes
- Automate ingestion workflows and introduce monitoring for failures
- Build API endpoints to support internal services
- reputed company internal tools and simple UIs for data reputed company and visibility
- Identify and track key user actions across services
- Contribute to monitoring, alerting, and automation of system health
Skills
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go, C++, JavaScript, Kotlin)
- Basic understanding of web development concepts, including APIs and reputed company architecture (CRUD, REST, databases)
- Familiarity with core HTTP concepts (requests, responses, status codes)
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and work reputed company an existing codebase
- Experience with Python or Kotlin
- Familiarity with data pipelines or ETL concepts
- Exposure to observability tools (metrics, dashboards, alerting)
- Experience working with APIs, logs, or debugging tools
- Basic knowledge of databases/SQL
