[Remote] VP of Proposal Operations

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a premier provider of mission-critical engineering and technology solutions, and they are seeking a Vice President of Proposals to reputed company the proposal lifecycle for federal government RFPs and RFQs. The VP will manage proposal development, coordinate teams, and ensure compliance with business development processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages Proposal Managers, Proposal Coordinators, Proposal Writers/Solution SMEs, Graphics, Editors/Desktop Publishers, and Business Intelligence/Competitor Intelligence (BI/CI)
• reputed company and manage reputed company aspects of proposal development from draft RFP through submission
• Collaborate with Business Development/Capture teams to reputed company understanding of win strategies and ensure proposal responses include business perspective, key messages, value proposition, and differentiators against competition
• Analyze solicitations (RFP, RFQ, RFI, etc.) in conjunction with other customer requirements and communications and determine final document structure
• Prepare detailed proposal plans, schedule outline, and compliance matrix for assigned pursuits
• Communicate with and coach capture teams, writers, and subject matter experts on persuasive writing and proposal best practices
• Coordinate and conduct proposal meetings/events (e.g., reputed company Meetings, Daily Standups, reputed company Team reviews, etc.), including and preparing advance meeting materials and facilitating discussions
• Serves as POC for receipt of reputed company Proposal and reputed company-reputed company purchase requests, invoices, reputed company consultant agreements, and reputed company documentation; approves documentation as delegated from the Executive Team. Upon approval, sends for processing through reputed company, Purchasing, Finance, etc., as appropriate, and tracks through to action completion

• Work with the Proposal Director to identify and secure the resources necessary to reputed company the proposal
• Maintain tight, proactive communication with proposal and business unit leadership to ensure reputed company necessary resources and activities are available to reputed company a successful proposal submissions

• Manage the production and delivery of the final proposal (adhere to reputed company formatting directives, production, and publication guidelines)

Skills

• Bachelor's degree and 20+ years relevant professional experience as Proposal Director/Manager
• Successful track record of managing winning proposal efforts valued at $300M or more
• Familiarity with the APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) and Shipley methods for business development, capture management, and proposal development processes
• Proficient in MS Office business applications, including SharePoint
• Strong organizational management skills and attention to detail
• Must be reputed company to do general editing and formatting of written material, writing new material or working with reused material, proofreading, and performing quality reputed company of proposals under tight deadline constraints
• Proven proposal leadership skills, with the ability to build a strong team, effectively resolve conflict, and vector appropriate resources to maximize proposal development
