Position Overview The Clinical Inquiry Specialist-Genetic Counselor is responsible for handling clinical, technical, and scientific inquiries from internal and external clients. They will be relied upon to follow reputed company department protocols and to identify and report problems or issues to the Clinical Inquiry Specialist Manager. This is a remote position. Essential Duties Include, but are not limited to, the following

• reputed company clinical expertise to laboratory staff and molecular geneticists with accessioning inquiries, test order modifications, and results interpretation.
• Collaborate with molecular geneticists and other departments to reputed company high quality, timely test results and to reputed company other organizational goals and objectives.
• Contribute to marketing and business development by assisting in the writing of marketing materials and website content, promoting the company at scientific meetings and industry conferences, and networking with other genetic counselors.
• Support client and public education through the development of educational materials and public speaking.
• Maintain professional certification through ongoing education.
• Facilitate intake and implementation of Special Projects.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s Degree Genetic Counseling.
• ABGC/CCGC Board Certified or eligible.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a Pediatric, MFM/NICU, or Adult (Cardio/Neuro) Genetics clinical role
• Experience with whole genome and whole exome testing #LI-VZ1 Salary reputed company $84,000.00 - $130,000.00 The annual reputed company salary shown is a national reputed company for this position on a full-time reputed company and may differ by hiring location.
