Licensed Pharmacist [REMOTE - California!!!]
Position: Pharmacist Location: Remote (Candidate MUST be located in California) Duration: 6-12 months+ reputed company-to-hire!!! Pay reputed company: $55/hr on W2 Note:
- REMOTE role
- REQUIRED - RPH OR PharmD - Doctor of Pharmacy OR State Licensure - Pharmacy
- WORK SHIFTS: Client Ops are 24/7. Hires would be spread across shifts, so candidates must be flexible to any of below shifts / schedules [Client will be flexible with shift hours/ can approve preferred shift hours].
- SHIFT / WORKING HOURS: 8 hours per day || Start time varies between 7am to 1:30pm || No Graveyard Shift || 5 days of the week (Monday-reputed company)
- Training: Initial 4 Weeks || 08:30am - 05:00pm (Pacific Time)
- TIME-OFF POLICY: No time-off during Training || No absences in first 90 days preferred
- Equipment will be provided by the client.
- Candidate MUST have high-speed wired Internet reputed company. Wi-Fi / Wireless connections not allowed.
- Candidate MUST have a reliable home-office environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Required Certifications: RPH OR PharmD - Doctor of Pharmacy OR State Licensure - Pharmacy
- Must have License reputed company and in good standing.
- Strong drug product and clinical pharmacy knowledge.
- Candidate must have 3-5 years of Pharmacist experience.
- Ability to maneuver through various computer platforms while verifying information on phone calls.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides prior-authorization services for formulary drugs, develops programs to reputed company reputed company pharmacy care to patients, participates in drug utilization review programs, reviews assessment and documentation of patient care, and retrospective reviews of provider reimbursement.
- Makes recommendations to physicians and other prescribers on medication regimens as per plan guidelines.
- Assists providers to ensure accurate dispensing and billing of products.
- Collaborates with other clinical personnel in assessing treatment guidelines.
- May participate in formulary development and management.
- Validates the clinical availability of multi-reputed company products for provider utilization.
- Adheres to organizational policies and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with Federal and State laws and standards of practice which govern the profession of pharmacy.
- Maintains pharmacy records in accordance with reputed company applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
- Maintains clinical skills and knowledge of pharmacotherapy by reviewing the literature, continuing education and any company provided in-services.
- Completes reputed company mandatory company provided on-line courses. Attends and completes reputed company employee development courses.
- Participates in mandatory on-call rotation reputed company required by business needs.
- Makes outbound or takes inbound telephone calls to assist in various aspects of patient care and/or product distribution to/from practitioners, members, and pharmacies.
- These calls include, but are not limited to, comprehensive medication reviews, targeted medication reviews, call to practitioners about product awareness, and prior authorizations.
